BRYTODEX

A solvent cutback rust preventative for protection of ferrous metals.

Product Description

Brytodex is a solvent base corrosion preventative which leaves a medium hard flexible self healing film by solvent evaporation.

Applications

Brytodex is recommended for protection of machined and bright parts held in store or awaiting further machining, it is particularly recommended where humidity and industrial pollution is high and corrosion and tarnishing is a problem.

Water Displacing

The product shows powerful water displacing properties, allows wet parts to be protected without drying.

Easy to Apply and to Remove

Brytodex is a thin film protective which is easy to apply and remove, if necessary. Competitive greases create problems in getting complete coverage and are difficult to remove.

Packing, Storage and Handling

Brytodex is packed in 5, 20, and 210 litre drums. the product should be stored in unopened containers in acool dry place out of direct sunlight.

Use

Brytodex is applied as received by brush, spray, or dipping. It is most effective for dewatering protection when applied by dipping. As the product is solvent based it should not be used near sources of ignition or at temperatures above ambient. If the product becomes thickened due to solvent evaporation this is quickly remedied by addition of neat solvent. The Brytodex film may be removed by use of solvent based degreasers or hot alkaline degreasers.
