FILMAC E12M

Filmac E12M is a medium viscosity neat cutting oil utilising solvent refined base oils, fortified with non-active EP agents and lubricant additives.

Applications

Filmac E12M is suitable for use on medium to low machinability materials, including certain ductile aluminium alloys; it is suitable for most ferrous and nonferrous metals.

Filmac E12Mis recommended as a cutting oil for all medium to heavy work on single and multi-spindle automatic machines. Particularly recommended where cutting oil rationalisation is required and material changes are frequent.

Features and Benefits

Versatile

Filmac E12M has a wide range of uses and material suitability, often inventories can be rationalised to just this one cutting oil.

Non-active additives

Because Filmac E12M contains non active extreme pressure additives it is safe to use on nonferrous metals with no possibility of staining.

Boundary lubricants and EP additives

Provides for maximum contact of the lubricant with the work piece, helps to give an exceptional surface finish at all feeds and speeds. The EP agents are active at the tooltip chip interface, prevents built up edge, reduces tool wear and cuts power consumption.

Packing, Storage and Handling

Filmac E12M is available in 5, 20 and 210 litre pack sizes. Store inside, out of direct sunlight, protect from temperature extremes. Normally safe in use, but reference should be made to the relevant safety data sheet.
